Could Millions Be Mistreated As Hypertensive?

About 60% of all the people who have heart attacks have NORMAL blood pressure and the vast majority of these people are taking high blood pressure drugs.

In a recent study in Europe, patients with high blood pressure who did NOTHING at all lived longer and had less complications than people who were on HBP medications.

It’s only a matter of time before you hear the medical institutions admit they were totally mistaken about heart disease and the dangers of high blood pressure drugs.

There is A LOT of money and even more ego and pride at stake with the present medical model, so don’t expect a public apology too soon . . . but it will come.

If you’ve tried the traditional approach, you’ve just participated in a massive experiment that failed. Don’t feel too bad, you’re not alone . . . millions of people have walked down the same path only to find themselves slaves of the drugs that hold them prisoner.

The government keeps lowering the standards and corralling more people into the “high-risk category” for heart disease. In spite of the fact that more high blood pressure drugs are prescribed than ever before, still sudden death is all around us. If fact, heart disease is the #1 cause of death!

Updating high blood pressure guidelines has only ONE goal . . . to sell billions of dollars worth of HBP drugs. Despite the bottom line being that HBP drugs are doing more harm than good.

How many more people do you think will be led down the same dead-end path before they announce that high blood pressure medications are NOT a cure for heart disease and actually increase the risk of sudden heart attack?

It’s true your risk of a heart attack may be greater if you have high blood pressure levels, but the cause of heart attack as well as high blood pressure is normally inflammation, NOT a drug deficiency.

Blood pressure elevation is not a disease, it’s a symptom, so you first need to find out WHY your blood pressure is high, and when you fix that your HBP will normalize…

For example, if a man had pneumonia and everyone focused on lowering his high temperature by giving him medication to bring his fever down, he’s going to eventually die from the untreated pneumonia… Similarly, if you only take drugs to lower high blood pressure, then you’re only treating the symptom of a serious underlying problem.

So if high blood pressure doesn’t cause heart disease, but harmful drugs can actually increase your risk of having a heart attack and deteriorate your health – Why not help your body maintain normal blood pressure naturally, without doing harm?

HBP drugs chemically interfere with your body’s natural healing processes, and allow the root cause of heart disease to take hold and tighten its grip.

Often times you can chemically alter your blood pressure levels down to far, where it becomes “too low” and the doctor switches your prescription again. Next thing you know you’re on blood thinners and being told you can’t eat green vegetables like broccoli or spinach.

You may already know if you are taking medication many healthy foods are suddenly labeled “forbidden foods”. Ever wonder why?

Truth is these forbidden foods “naturally” do what the medication is claiming to do. If you eat healthy while taking some of these drugs you may amplify the effect of the medication.

You just have to ask yourself, “why not reduce the harmful drugs and simply eat more of what is naturally good for you instead?”

Eating Tips to Help Fight Against Hypertension

By Chris Guthrie

As you may well know, Hypertension is a very serious condition that affects a high number of adults worldwide. Due to the lack of symptoms though, many never find out they have it until it is too late.

So this is where the old saying, “prevention is better than cure” rings truer than ever. But how can you prevent or lower high blood pressure?

Well a very effective way of fighting this condition is taking great care in what you eat. This is true for good health in general, but even more so in preventing hypertension.

Here I am going to tell you what types of food to eat and the foods you should avoid or at the very least, cut right back on

Fruit and Vegetables

Fruit and Vegetables have been shown to help in the battle against high blood pressure, so make sure you get your 5 a day here. Try and get a healthy variety too as each different fruit and vegetable has different benefits so making sure to vary them will ensure you get all you need.

They are full of vitamins and minerals, and are of higher quality than what you will get in a supplement.

Wholegrains

Eating plenty of Wholegrain foods will help in reducing blood pressure. These include rice, breakfast cereals and wholegrain pasta. Of course, never add sugar to cereals as they often contain plenty already!

Dairy Products

These tend to be an excellent source of calcium, however can often have high levels of saturated fat, and some cheeses can be high in salt content. The best types to have would be skimmed or semi skimmed milk, low fat cheese and low fat yoghurt.

Fresh meats

Oily fish like tuna and salmon will provide a good balance of cholesterol in your blood, and chicken will help make sure you don’t eat too much saturated fat. Also, cutting fat off any meat will help reduce fat intake.

Foods to Avoid

Anything with high levels of saturated fat, salt and sugar should be avoided as much as possible. Also high levels of alcohol intake are bad for Hypertension, and though not a food, cigarettes are very bad for your health all round but especially for your heart.

Crisps, chocolate, sweets, fried food, and greasy take away foods, especially kebabs, are filled with these dangerous ingredients and will make blood pressure much higher very quickly, and really should be avoided. Some moderation can perhaps be allowed occasionally, but not until your blood pressure is down to a safe level and you must never eat excessive amounts of these foods.

Well we have discussed which foods can help you fight hypertension and also which ones can cause it or make it worse. I really hope this is of help to you and that you know a bit more about how to treat this deadly condition than before, good luck!

High Blood Pressure: Causes,Symptoms,Treatment

by: Alexis-Blaise Kenne
Blood pressure is the force of the blood pushing against the walls of the arteries. Blood pressure is the result of two forces: from the heart as it pumps blood into the arteries and throughout the circulatory system, and the force of the arteries as they resist blood flow. Blood pressure is measured by putting a blood pressure cuff around your arm, inflating the cuff and listening for the flow of blood. Blood pressure is always given as these two numbers, the systolic and diastolic pressures. Blood pressure is traditionally measured with a device called a sphygmomanometer. Blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). Blood pressure is generally felt to be abnormally high at a level of 140/90, and some sort of definitive therapy and follow-up should be started at this level. High blood pressure is called the silent killer because it usually has no symptoms.

Blood is carried from the heart to all parts of your body in vessels called arteries. Blood does not flow regularly like water from a tap:-When the heart contracts (systole), the blood is propelled into the main arteries that act as a pressurised reservoir.

Pressure in a hose can be regulated either by controlling the rate at which fluid passes through it or by widening it. Pressure inside your arteries can cause the muscles that line the walls of the arteries to thicken. Your blood pressure is at its highest when the heart beats, pumping the blood. When the heart is at rest, between beats, your blood pressure falls. Still, for most of your waking hours, your blood pressure stays pretty much the same when you are sitting or standing still.

Heart disease is the UK’s biggest killer, claiming thousands of lives each year. Heart failure is when your heart cannot pump blood around the body as well as it should, and this can cause you to become short of breath and can cause your ankles to swell. Heart attack High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart attacks.

Various disorders and drugs can cause the compensatory mechanisms to malfunction, and high blood pressure may result. Causes In most instances of high blood pressure, no known cause can be identified. Doctors do not know what causes high blood pressure in 90 to 95 percent of people who have it. For some people, just being in a medical setting causes their blood pressure to rise.

Symptoms When blood pressure is too low, the first organ to malfunction is usually the brain. Symptoms that may occur include: Confusion Chest pain Ear noise or buzzing Irregular heartbeat Nosebleed Tiredness Vision changes. What is treatment, medication, medicines, remedy, drugs, cure of lowering high Blood pressure or Hypertension? . Although high blood pressure, also known as hypertension, can cause headaches, dizziness and problems with vision, the majority of people with the condition do not display any noticeable symptoms.

Treatment
Treatment is focused on reducing water retention and lowering blood pressure to normal limits. Treatment for high blood pressure depends on the severity of the disease and whether you have other health problems, such as heart failure or diabetes, or you are pregnant. Treatment of primary high blood pressure, especially moderate or severe high blood pressure, decreases the risk of heart failure, coronary artery disease, heart attack, abnormal heartbeats, stroke, and kidney disease, and reduces the risk of death from these conditions. Treatment for high blood pressure must be highly individualized and based on your risk factors, such as diabetes, smoking, and heart disease. Treatment when blood pressure increases slightly and the woman is not near the end of her pregnancy, bed rest may help reduce the pressure. Treatment begins with changes you can make in your lifestyle to help lower your blood pressure and reduce your risk of heart disease .

High blood pressure is called the silent killer because it usually has no symptoms. When high blood pressure is not found and treated, it can cause: The heart to get larger, which may lead to heart failure. If your blood pressure is in the prehypertension range, it is more likely that you will end up with high blood pressure unless you take action to prevent it. High blood pressure is dangerous because it makes the heart work too hard and contributes to atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). If your blood pressure is between 120/80 mmHg and 139/89 mmHg, then you have prehypertension. The good news is that if your blood pressure is high, it can be lowered by making changes to your lifestyle, for example changing your diet, exercising and losing weight, and when needed, with tablets. The medical community?s knowledge of high blood pressure is great, but far from perfect. High blood pressure is more common: In patients whose families have high blood pressure In those over 35 years old In males In Afro-Americans In women on oral contraceptives. The only way to know whether you have high blood pressure is to have it taken by a person who knows how (those automatic machines you sit at in the supermarket are not necessarily kept accurate condition.
